2. Website hosting
This website runs on a server provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Visiting the website involves processing connection data needed to deliver it, including your IP address, the time and destination of the request, and information sent by your browser. Redirects and technical errors may generate server logs. These may contain your IP address, date and time, requested URL, response status, data volume, browser identifier, and referring page. We use this information to deliver the website reliably, troubleshoot problems, and detect abuse. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in operating a secure and stable website.
Log files are rotated automatically and older archives are deleted. Up to 52 archives are retained per log; daily rotation creates a new archive only when the log contains entries. Retention therefore depends on log activity. Extracts needed to investigate a specific security incident may be kept until the investigation and any related legal claims have been resolved.

3. Contact by email
When you email us, we process your email address, your name if provided, your message, and any attachments to respond to your inquiry. Providing this information is voluntary; we may be unable to respond without sufficient contact details. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies where processing concerns a contract with you or steps you request before entering into one. Other inquiries are handled under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in responding to business communications.
We use Fastmail Pty Ltd, Australia, for email. Messages and related connection data may be processed outside the EU or EEA, including in Australia and the United States. We retain correspondence for as long as it is needed to address your inquiry and any resulting contractual relationship. It is then deleted unless statutory retention duties or legitimate grounds for establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims require continued retention. Article 6(1)(c) GDPR applies to statutory duties and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR to the protection of legal claims.
4. Contact form
The contact form’s sending function is currently inactive. The form does not transmit your entries to us or a form provider, or store them on our servers. You can contact us using the email address shown above and in the legal notice.
5. Cookies, analytics, and fonts
This website does not set cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are served from our own web server without connecting to an external font provider. Language switching uses separate page addresses and does not store a cookie. We do not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
6. Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in law, you have rights to access your personal data, correct inaccuracies, request erasure or restriction, and receive portable data (Articles 15–20 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time for the future without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Right to object: Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR). We will stop processing unless compelling legitimate grounds override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or processing is needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
7. Complaints to a supervisory authority
You may complain to a data protection authority, particularly where you habitually live, work, or believe an infringement occurred (Article 77 GDPR).
